Had to come to AFC for physical & drug test. Been sitting here over an hour with only 1 other in waiting room & another person just arrived. Man came out & said “if I were u, I would leave.” I asked why & he said a nurse came in and gave him someone else’s diagnosis. He had not even seen a doctor after being here over 2 hours & NO ONE HERE! What are ur nurses/doctors doing back there??? Looks like sitting at a big desk talking to each other. Pretty sad. Do better! I’ll approach my employer to PLEASE find another place to do these drug tests/physicals
I took my 9 year old son in today and received the best care. The receptionist, Paula as so kind and offered to bring things out to make my son comfortable until he was called back. She didnt have to do anything of that nature but you could tell she was a kind and caring person. When we were called back Traci and Liz were so patient with my son,he had a broken toe, so he was walking pretty slow. And Doctor Gabriel was amazing. She explained his care and made us both feel confident in our ability to take care of his toe. I have been to other urgent care facilities and this one is by far the best!
06/30/2024 to start with a good note this place was open and that’s about it. There is absolutely no assistance with insurance processes at this facility at least for today. Everything was request for us to self initiate any reimbursement. We have good insurance with UHC. The biggest issues were our Dr prescribed a medication for my 9 year old grandson that could only be administered to 10 year and older patients. We found this out after we made numerous calls trying to locate where our prescription had been sent. Very frustrating when this facility ensures you everything it right on their end and my pharmacy doesn’t have my prescription order. AFC finally called it in after I was told a system error had been received. After my pharmacy caught the age discrepancy on the prescription and called this facility back, the Dr informed them to tell us to buy a OTC med to give my grandson. Disappointing experience to say the least. I will be on the look out for my bill, I have another experience where I was never sent a bill and was turned over to a collection agency. This was a AFC Urgent care that said my address was lost in their system. Thanks for letting me share.
I have visited AFC a few times in the past few years. All of our visits have been quick and thorough. Paula at the front desk was very professional and welcoming. Dr. Henderson was very quick to diagnose a broken wrist and we were quickly splinted and referred to an orthopedic surgeon.
We came here yesterday around 3pm . We told them I was having breathing problem and needed an chest x-ray. They said that was fine the x-ray technician was leaving at 4. So as it got closer to 4 we asked the front nurse desk is the X-ray technician still going to be here. She said yes they were going to keep her late for us. So we were sitting in a room waiting to be seen and we hear the np say the x-ray technician has gone home. We go out of the room to speak with someone. The NP says we didnt know you needed an x-ray or we would have kept her, even though I asked the front end girl three times if I would be able to get an X-ray. The NP said we will have one in the morning and we can get you in first thing. We set our alarm and where there when they opened. Well nobody let any in the morning know what was going on so we werent in the system and there were four people ahead of us now. The front desk girl was rude. The nurse we had yesterday was there and knew all about it but never said anything. I will definitely tell people not to go there.
The AFC I usually go to did not have a provider. The girls at that front desk gave me a high lighted page with others open & available to help me. This AFC on Calhoun handled the usual amount of patients & others coming in from the no provider available AFC Office. All the people in the office who helped me were very patient, genuinely concern & provide detailed professional advice about both my carpal tunnel issues on both hands & arm. The Dr referred me to a professional to help me & 5he appointment was within a week of being seen at AFC.Its definitely the customer service & care I received that will make me come back to this branch🌿❤️....🥳🍃🎉
Everyone was very friendly especially Nikki at the front. Very nice and helpful. That, to me, matters almost as much as the medical help. It makes such a huge difference! Everyone was great and I will definitely go back if the need arises!
I have had only good experiences here. Online check in and the front desk staff I spoke with (Paula) was friendly and helpful. The medical staff also does a great job of listening and addressing the problems. I know when I broke my arm and it was difficult to get xrays they were very patient and helped me to work around the problem. I would definitely recommend this urgent care!
I recently took my son to this urgent care after he fell and hurt his arm. Despite filling out all the paperwork online beforehand, we waited for 45 minutes only to be told that their x-ray tech was no longer there. We wasted precious time sitting there when we could have been at a facility that could actually perform the x-ray. To make matters worse, they still wanted to see him and then send us elsewhere for the x-ray. I refused And took him somewhere where the x-ray tech was still there. And I didn’t waste a copay seeing them for them not to be able to do anything. Extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and the inefficient service.
The wait was difficult (I went at 2pm and left at 3:40pm), but their receptionist was the kindest soul and the Dr and nurse are both so professional and kind! When I arrived I thought I had appointment but I didn’t end up doing it right online, and the receptionist Paula immediately assured me it’s alright and she can get me a walk in visit very quick. Indeed paperwork with her was very quick! Then I waited for over an hour to be seen. That part wasn’t so nice lol. When I was seen the nurse read my symptoms and immediately knew I had strep throat. She did a test for me and the Dr came in and actually made sure the bacteria didn’t cause any complications else where. It was a quick service but definitely isn’t the “in-and-out” feel! Answered all my questions and told me symptoms to look out for. Got my an antibiotic to the Ingles across the straight within 5 mins! I literally over and Ingles have received the prescription and prepared it for me. Very good experience!
Horrible, one they had a “patient” in the lobby on his phone a med “tech” talking about another patient in a nursing home( we asked the staff to stop him or step outside they did nothing). We came here at 12:53 it is now 2:15 and they “thought” my daughter had already been swabbed… the nurse “I got a little lost in the sauce” the dr “ they should be running “This place is by far the worst!!!! They are rude, they are understaffed, and they have no value or pride in their work ! Never again will I bring my child here again! Very unclean, stuff on floor from previous patient!
Both ladies at the front counter were very nice. The nurse was very nice and the dr was very nice. Everyone was professional and courteous.I actually had a horrible experience at this AFC before but I took it with a grain because it was during Covid and everyone was unhinged. This experience was 100 percent better. Will come again if needed. Thank you!
NP took extremely good care of an infected wound. She was kind, gentle and very compassionate. She explained what she was doing and showed us step by step how to treat at home. All other staff were wonderful too.
I had a great experience at AFC urgent care Easley. Paula at the front desk greeted me with a nice big smile and was very friendly. Everyone I interacted with was nice. Everything ran smoothly and quickly. I would recommend this facility
It was my boyfriend’s first time going here and Paula was extremely helpful and informative on the process of being a new a patient and making him feel really comfortable- he doesn’t like anything hospital related
Paula greeted us with a smile as soon as we walked in the door and was extremely pleasant with answering all of my questions. The girls up front were also helpful as well as the nurse, all engaged in friendly conversation and got us back very quickly! This is my favorite urgent care!
Went in for workman’s compensation injury. Helpful and friendly staff. Normal wait time as I was getting paperwork squared away. Once I was taken back the process went quickly. I was given the medical report to send to WC before I left and was scheduled for a follow-up.
Sent me straight to collections without ever sending me a bill. Lady at the collection company said that this happens a lot from this office. Lucky I caught it in time and it did not affect my credit.
Very obliged to the helpful and attentive staff! The visit was handled in a very timely manner for both of my sons sport physicals. Thank you for a job well done and for the smooth flow and communication of your facility!!
The receptionist / billing person explained in detail my new insurance while being sensitive to my medical condition. The triage / intake person really cared and asked great qualifying questions. The Nurse Practitioner already knew my situation and REALLY LISTENED to find out what was wrong. Then she noticed another “concern” that I was not aware of at the time. She gave me medication there to help with the symptoms until my script could be filled. 10/10 experience. RARE in today’s medical experience. Outstanding!!!
Sarah b is it amazing an amazing nurse. Very professional I think this lady needs a raise or promotion I would rate her more than a 10 thank you thank you again Sarah b for my good experience at urgent Care in Easley
Timely examination and response from an excellent team is helping me in a time of need when my PCP was unavailable and other medical staff were vacationing. Thank God for AFC Urgent Care Bon Secours!
9 yr old daughter seen 3-14-24. The front desk lady was her usual lackluster borderline rude self. Seeming inconvenienced by performing any aspect of her job. The physician was professional and thorough enough. Rapid strep test was negative. Throat culture was supposed to take 2-3 days per the drs words. 6 days later still no results or update despite multiple inquiries. Meanwhile, my daughter might be spreading strep and rheumatic fever across the upstate. Who knows? Office was quite dirty too.
Quite truthfully everyone there was really nice and helped me. I was in and out pretty quickly. Great service
My son had to get a PPD test. Very friendly staff. Paula was very kind and professional. She had a very welcoming kindness. My son’s visit went fast.
The wait time couldve been more down bc waiting an hour when your the only person in the waiting room is rough when something is hurting. But other than that really nice employees
I was pleasantly greeted by Mary and Paula upon arriving. The provided great customer service. The doctor on duty was attentive and informative. Thanks for the great experience.
I came for a drug test for work and I had to wait over an hour just to go back. There was only 1 person in the waiting room when I arrived and the person had already gone back and left and I was still waiting. I don’t understand why all the employees are standing around doing nothing when I’ve been here for over an hour. High unacceptable.
Only here for a drug test lady at the desk has the worst attitude and I’ve been here an hour already and 3 people got here after me and have already been seen. This place is a joke don’t waste your time.
My first visit here. Everyone I had contact with were very kind and helpful. I would go here again.
Do not go here. They will tell you they’ll get you back fast then watch everyone go back before you and then they even take people who came in after you. By far the worst experience going to an AFC Urgent Care. Never again.
My 1st experience at this facility.Quickly scheduled and treated. Everyone was very helpful. I would go again for care.
First rate experience at this AFC Urgent care today. Online registration was simple and got appointment quick. Paula the receptionist took great care and even got me in a bit earlier then my schedule time. Service of medical staff of Tracey and Talia could not have been better or faster. I left feeling this was a good experience rather then a pain.
The staff was very friendly and helpfull. I broke my foot and although was put in a walking boot, i could not walk so they gave me crutches and helped me to ny car.
The nurse practitioner showed genuine concern for me She took the time to explain everything to me and i really appreciate her kindness
Paula was amazing. I came in with the flu and wasn’t expected to be seen until 4:00pm. They got me in 2 hours before hand. Lisa came in and checked everything to make sure I was good. Thank you so much AFC glad I didn’t have to go to the ER. Merry Christmas to this wonderful staff
Thanks for getting me in and out quickly with the preregistration process online. The wait time was much shorter as a result. All the staff I encountered were very nice and caring. I was in and out with a diagnosis and prescriptions sent to my pharmacy in a little under an hour. Much better than expected.
Currently here right now as Im typing this. The SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!!! AND THE WAIT TIME IS EXTREMELY LONG. I walked in at 8:30 A.M. IM STILL here at 10:55 a.m. and I have yet to see ANYONE. When I finally got called to the back; The lady was in such a a rush she asked me to step on the scale , after my weight popped up I stepped off because she was behind me moving her pen and asking questions. So after stepping off the scale. I noticed she was way behind me. I asked did she get my weight and she said no sorry I didnt get it 🤦🏾♀️ umm okay what were you doing then? Smh. I then get put in a a room. Shes taking my vitals and dropping things (shes in a rush) . Im waiting on a doctor... a doctor burst into the room, looks at me, and rushes off. She leaves the door open and now Im waiting again!!! Update: I went in for severe foot pain. she diagnosed me and on my way out (11:51 a m.) told me to stay away from carbs 😂 needless to say I wont be back, EVER!
I appreciate the quick service and super polite staff it was refreshing compared to recent experiences elsewhere in the region…keep up the good work!!! - Paul T
I went online and scheduled an appointment for my daughter’s in grown toe nail. I thought with the appointment I wouldn’t have to wait long. I waited 3 hours. When we went back for less than 10 minutes, one man looked at her toe and said I can’t do anything about it, I will refer you to a podiatrist. The podiatrist never called and they never gave me a name of one for me to call. I had to dig her toe nail out myself. Then they charged me $97!!!! They should be paying me for wasting my time! Do better!
Everyone was very nice and helpful. I was out in about 30 minutes. Would definitely recommend them.
Everyone was very gentle and caring and I truly appreciated it. The receptionist were also very pleasant!
Receptionist Paula was professional, courteous and efficient. Clean and comfortable waiting room.
Trina and Liz were awesome to work with. Such good care provided by all. Thank you!
Walk-in (unscheduled) for cold & flu symptoms. Wait was about 30-40 minutes. Paula assisted with my check in was very extremely patient and kind explaining what paperwork needed to be completed because I was feeling extremely fatigued. Overall the process was seamless and timely for an urgent care visit.
Whats sad, is I gave them 5 stars last year. I had to take that 5 star away and give them a 1. The changes in that office are horrible! NEVER in my life, will I going back to urgent care in Easley! Since the change, I couldnt make appointment online. Had to wait til they opened and would just put me in line. Almost 5 hours!! Still didnt get seen and we saw walk-in after walk-in go ahead of us. Not emergencies either, even a drug test when ahead of us.
When I schedule appointments they are never in the computer system. I have to wait hours for a drug test. Even when they find my appointment they let others for drug tests in front of me because they got there a minute before me. They need a better manager. I always hear how short staffed they area
My husband was seen (unscheduled) after an agricultural equipment accident. The wait was short, the office staff friendly and efficient in processing information, the physician was honest (and spot-on) in referring him to the ER because his injury required specialized treatment. The ER X-rayed and further referred him to a specialist; surgery was required. Today I contacted the staff for issuance of paperwork copies so I could process an insurance claim (outside of their purview). Paula was professional, caring, accommodating, and so efficient the emailed documents were in my inbox before our phone conversation was completed! Well done, Paula! That was our first experience with an Urgent Care Clinic; it’s nice to know they’re available.
Walk-in (unscheduled) for cold & flu symptoms. Wait was about 30-40 minutes. The receptionist (Paula) was very nice and worked with me when I told her I forgot my wallet that had my insurance card & ID.
Okay, I get it. Most doctors office experiences are not pleasant, but this was unbelievable. I called a day in advance explaining my issue asking if they can help, keep in mind I told her what I needed and this lady puts me on hold and picks up the phone while talking and laughing with her co-worker like Im not telling her something important but honestly that was only mildly annoying, but shes like yeah we can help you. We set up an appointment for the following day for 5pm, I get there at 430 and only one other person is there, I do my paperwork, under reason for visiting, I put the exact service I needed, 2 hours and $136 later the nurse is telling me, oh we actually dont do this here. You have to go somewhere else... like, are you kidding me... there were so many chances for someone to tell me that. Literally, they dont even know what services they offer. I cant believe they actually charged me $136 just to say oh hey you know that thing you called about and then wrote down was the reason for your visit before paying, and waited 2 hours for, yeah I just found out we dont do that here, oops but if you wait you can pay the right people to do it. Whats a few more days, right? Okay, bye. Whats a few more days.... I literally told them I couldnt afford some place else after paying them, and I was told they dont know the prices of the other places but they might work with me, and they highly suggest I get everything taken care of... thanks for actually doing the opposite of what a doctor should do. I left in a worse situation. I arrived in.
Best experience, girls there are awesome. Will use again if I or my husband need care.
I had a great experience here. I had an appointment at 10, but ended up coming in at 8 after my hotel caught fire that morning. They were able to see me early for my travel covid test and I had the results back and my travel paperwork filled out by the staff before 09:30. I just cleared customs to re-enter Japan an hour ago with no problems!
I was very pleased with the care I received early Saturday morning and in a very timely manner from Dr Stacy Fender. She was very professional and listened patiently to my concerns. She was very compassionate and made it obvious to me that she felt my pain do to speak. She explained what she was prescribing for me to take and it was called in to CVS and promptly received. Excellent care from Dr. Fender and Urgent Care! After my call I told my wife and she confirmed that she too had received excellent care from her as well. Thank you so much. Im still in quarantine and seem to be getting better!
I was able to get my daughter a same day appointment when her doctors office could not see her and she was very sick. Online registration was easy and we were seen within 30 minutes of her appointment time even though they were very busy. The nurse and the doctor we saw were both very friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend
So the nurse was so pretty and very nice. She took my blood and I never felt any pain. Her name is Sarah and she is wonderful at what she does. The doctor helped me with a small problem I was having with no problem. AFC Urgent Care gets a five STAR ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ in my book.
The staff were very friendly and efficient. They assisted me promptly to complete my background check for job even though I came in at closing because I left my fulltime job later than usual. The ladies were very knowledgeable and informed me of the expectation of the test results. I would recommend anyone to come by this urgent care location. Top notch service.!
The staff is very professional and helpful they were also very kind. The facility is very nice, spacious, and clean. I loved being able to walk in and was seen within 5 minutes. This is my go to place when I can’t see my regular physician. Thank you AFC Easley!
I had cut my arm and the NP stayed with me to make sure she stopped the bleedingShe took the time to make sure I was goodB4 I left . Great care
The staff is very professional and helpful. The facility is very nice, spacious, and clean. I loved being able to book a sick visit on line and was seen within 5 minutes of my appointment time. This is my go to place when I can’t see my regular physician. Thank you AFC Easley!
I had a good experience overall. When I came in I knew how much I was going to have to pay so I wasnt surprised about that. Actually think it was a little cheaper than I thought. It was a work physical so my insurance would not pay. The staff was really nice and I got out of there relatively quickly. I prefer to go to my family doctor, but in an emergency it was worth it.
In the past we have had okay to good visits with Urgent CareYesterday, my husband came in to pay our copay. The lady at the front desk took the payment and told my husband she will let the people in the back know we were out waiting to get our covid and flu test. My husband and I sat in our car for almost an hour. Reluctantly, because we didnt want to make anyone else sick, my husband went inside to find out what was happening and was told that they were sorry. The nurse came out apologetic and said she never received the message that we were out there. The nurse was very apologetic and we appreciate that. I understand mistakes can happen but we were sitting right in front of the windows where we could see the lady at the front desk the whole time. It was disappointing.
Very easy and convenient to set up and register for an appointment online. The staff was friendly they took great care of me! Back to work with prescriptions called in within an hour. Thanks!
The staff was super friendly knowledgeable and went above and beyond. Not to mention my daughter and I were in and out.
Ive interacted with multiple people on staff at Easleys AFC and have always been treated with respect and kindness. My most memorable and positive experiences have been because of Stephanie. She is always so kind, informative, patient, and helpful. She even came into the lobby to get my paperwork and things when I broke my foot. She genuinely seemed to care and empathize with my situations every time.Another person that has been great was Paula, who was super apologetic when she wasnt able to accommodate me missing my appointment (because they were a few minutes away from closing and I had missed the telehealth call). She seemed very genuine and gave me multiple ways of rescheduling and asked how else she could help me. She seamlessly got me in the next day with a provider. Most of my family go to this location because its been a great experience for them also.Definitely recommend it!
Staff was very nice. Office was cleaner than another Id been to. Was a bit of a wait even though there were only 3 of us waiting and I had made an appt online earlier that morning. Was taken in 45 mins past my appt time! Its frustrating then sitting in the exam room (after a 45 min past appt wait ) another 20 mins while listening to staff standing around loudly laughing, chatting, talking about pizza and restaurants while people are sick and waiting! Dr was not the best. He was not particularly friendly or even caring and just seemed to want to be done with me. Did not listen. He ordered blood work and then the MA came in 10 mins later with my paperwork and said I could go. When I asked about labs he ordered she said, Oh, our machine is broken again and it will probably be 2 days before it is fixed!! I said, Should I go elsewhere and have it done? and she said No. The NP then confirmed this when I asked. Really??? So were labs ordered by Dr important to my case or you just wanted to pad the bill?? Its hard to find any medical place here in upstate SC that has a Dr that actually does their job well and really cares about patient outcomes. Seems to be more about just passing as many people through the system as quickly as possible to keep the money flowing to Bon Secour. Sad.
Dont waste your time making an appointment. I was scheduled at 12:02 for 2 immunizations and did all the necessary online registration paperwork before arrival. I was taken back to the room at 1:05 after they took 2 other people in who arrived later than me. Receptionist told me I would be next on both occasions when I questioned why I was still waiting. I was in the exam room another 10 minutes before someone came. I mentioned my frustration to the nurse and she told me they dont take appointments/there was some kind of problem with their marketing? Also, there were never more than 3 people in the waiting room besides me and I overheard reception telling callers there was over a 3 hour wait for anyone coming in that needed to be seen..........really? They seemed to have at least 4 nurses and 1 physician on staff so I have to assume these people are lazy or not well managed. Will not be going back to AFC Easley.
The service was really good - the lady at the desk was nice and the doctor was quick and to the point. BUT - you need to change your website. Dont put on there that you have to schedule a video call if you have a cough instead of being able to come in as a walk in. If your rules have changed since the pandemic is over, please make it clear on your website.
Loved my experience!! I came in as a Walk-In and was told the wait time was about 45 mins. Their schedule was “true to form.” I think I may have actually been called back before my 45 mins was up. They had at least 3 physicians working plus, 3 nurses, and the front desk technician. All personnel was kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. Will definitely suggest this location.
Woah. The unprofessionalism is real here. I scheduled my visit online and arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment. The lady that checked me in was less than pleasant, but that was the least of my concerns. As I sat in the waiting room, I watched this receptionist handle a very sick patients phone with her bare hands and then continue working behind the desk, touching other things, without washing her hands. She did something similar with the next person in line, just passing the germs along with zero regard for the health and safety of others.Almost an hour after my scheduled appointment time, I was called back into a room. Tracy took me straight to the scale and weighed me, without asking me to drop my very heavy bag or remove my outerwear. She then took me back into a room and took by blood pressure-over my coat. Needless to say, I ran out the door as fast as I could.Someone needs to take a closer look at what is happening in this office. Changes need to be made ASAP!!
Very grateful to the staff for helping us today. Especially Liz! She helped the minute we walked in the door, and explained the process. I don’t understand the negative reviews because they are apologetic and upfront that they were short on staff. Every other URGENT care close by was closed or not taking patients. Again, thanks Liz and AFC team for taking good care of us.FYI: I learned it’s better to make an appointment and register online.
Staff is very pleasant and professional. In and out in only 30 minutes.
Very good care...excellent staff. They were very kind an compassionate...no wait time.
The staff was amazing! Bless them for being open and gracious on a Saturday afternoon and they had such gentle touches!
Came to AFC Urgent Care Easley recently after a little slip-up with a box cutter and everyone I encountered was terrific. Many thanks to Dr. Roberts, Traci, Melissa and Paula for the speedy, friendly and very skillful care!
The front desk was friendly and competent. The nursing staff was organised and thorough and were able to have my meds and test results ready for the nurse practitioner. I appreciated the nurse practitioner listening to my history with this problem, which is something my primary caregiver was unwilling to do. I was pleased that I had selected this urgent care.
I was able to get an appointment scheduled with in the hour. I was taken back at my scheduled time and the doctor came in promptly. The cost was slightly less than I had expected. (Without insurance) I am from out of state, but if I was in need, I would return for sure.
The PA didn’t listen to my concerns about my reason for coming in. They made up half of what was put on my discharge papers. Basically a scam for more money. I was literally crying in pain and they put “patient states dull, moderate pain”. They also said my pain was only in my elbow and I distinctly said elbow and above. He touched my arm, but didn’t attempt to move it at all and I told him there was a popping noise when I tried to move it. EDIT TO ADD… Spoke with Heather and hopefully will have a better resolution with a second visit. Edit again… was sent home with no resolution so I went to the ER. They at least put me in a sling and gave me some information on what the injury could be.
I made an appointment for this morning at 1030. I was advised to arrive early to do paperwork. SO, I arrived at 1015. At 1100 I was finally called back to the examining room- all the walk-ins were called in before me. It is not true you wont wait with an appointment and will be called before a walk-in is. As I was led back to the examining room 4 staff members left for lunch. I sat in the examining room for another 30 minutes before I left the room, finding an empty area where nurses and doctors are supposed to be, asking when it was my turn. I was informed the PA was on a video call - it was more important than a patient in the examining room. An hour and no one assisted me with my medical condition. NOT ONE. I would NOT recommend this office to my dog. I left at 1132 telling them NOT to bill me or my insurance because I was not assisted in anyway.
Kimberly Hair, PA/NP… asked her to wear a mask and apparently that upset her. Stated she didn’t have the flu or sick and seemed visibly upset. I stated I am a care giver for my 91 grandmother and frankly I should not have to explain why I am APPARENTLY the only one concerned about my health. I’m not sure why someone, that I assume has taken the Hippocratic Oath/ Florence Nightingale Pledge would have a problem with wearing a mask.
Everyone I came in contact with during my visit were super nice & professional. The wait time was very short. I was very well taken care of by the nurse who took my vitals & the Nurse Practitioner. Highly recommend this clinic.
What a joke!!!!The Dr can see you without pay. For a refural!!! Thats the medicine field for you..thanks for nothing
Arrived at 5:30 pm after calling at 5pm and being told they can do a walk in sport’s physical only to to be turned away saying they could not see us. I explained I had called 30 minutes prior and was told come on in. The lady at the counter said well you didn’t speak to me. She went on to say they were not taking any more appointments and refused to see us. She then said she can make an appointment for the next day. We then left and went to the Clemson location and they told me absolutely they take walk ins and were extremely helpful.
I registered online for your Powdersville location. I notated that I needed an x-ray on my left hand. They called 10 minutes before my appointment, as I was pulling up, to let me know they do not have a technician at that location. PLEASE mention that on your website before anyone else makes an appointment. Because they told me to go to the Easley location that they would call ahead for me. After waiting for almost 2 hours I had to leave to go pick up my children from their half day at school. They literally wasted my entire morning all because it was not mentioned on the website they can not do an x-ray in Powdersville. I would have made an appointment in Easley originally and made the drive all the way there had I known. Terrible experience.
Everyone was very pleasant and welcoming. I really enjoyed talking with the doctor. She seemed very caring and made me feel comfortable. Also, the wait was not too long since I made an online appointment ahead of time. That was very helpful.
The place does a great job. They come to work with people lined out the door yet keep a positive attitude and a bit of a sense of humor. The Nurse (wish I got her name) is fantastic and made me feel comfortable knowing it was the last place and thing I wanted to do. I ended up leaving happy.
Paula greeted me very promptly. She was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I appreciate Paula. Companies need more Paulas. Little to no wait time which is alway a plus!
The team was amazing. Ms Paula was by herself because two called out and she handled everything with professionalism. The lady who did my TB shot was also amazing. Didnt hurt at all. The place was very neat and tidy. Wonderful experience.
Tahlia, Heather and Danette were wonderful. Wait time was minimal. It was an overall great experience!
I’m a veteran who called in and made appointment. I told the staff I had an ID number and my drivers license but did not have my va medical card. They told me that would be ok. I showed up for my appointment and they told me that I had to have my card and could not a accept just my ID number. I have been to numerous Urgent Cares, hospitals and specialists recently and have never needed my VA Medical Card. They have always just taken my ID number and no issues. I have done this in two different states. No issues. Very frustrating. I’m angry that they refused me care. At VA Care Center as I write this and they told me that they should have seen me as long as I have a photo ID and my ID number. I’ll never go back there. The nurse that saw me at the VA care center told me that they screwed up something on her and misdiagnosed because of faulty equipment and she wound up having to visit the ER and a hefty bill to go along with it. Don’t know the chances of running into someone else who’s a nurse in the same day that told me not ever use this place again.
I patronized this facility because my own physicians office could not see me for four weeks. While my issue was not an emergency, it was urgent and could not wait. I had a very good experience with this facility. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The doctor, L. Moody, was amazing. She was genuinely concerned for my issue and made me feel valued. There was a bit of a long wait due to a medical emergency that took priority, as it should have. Over all, I would highly recommend AFC Urgent Care
Made an online appointment for a telehealth visit. I made it for a specific time they had listed as available, and made sure I was ready and available at that time. Their system emailed me registration papers that I filled out. Three hours pass and nothing. Then a nurse calls me to triage. She was very nice and apologized for the wait. She said the doctor would be available soon and to look for a link to our teledoc appointment. Flash forward to 8pm and they are closed. No link was ever sent. No doctor ever called. Absolutely the worst.
Very busy a majority of the time (which isnt their fault). However, openings arent always like theyre stated. I was told to come be here at 8 am this morning. (After coming in another day and getting fussed at for not having a mask then being refused to be supplied one.) Someone didnt get here to open up until 9. Now, theres a full room and no receptionist to even check anyone in. Many people have gone ahead and left. My experiences here lately havent been the best. Definitely needs to have some tuning up with the employees and hospitality aspect.
I went in for a DOT physical. I was immediately greeted inside at the window by Liz. Let me say Liz is quite the character! She has her own unique way of welcoming you, explaining the paperwork to fill out and the charge for services! You need to experience this yourself! I of course did not feel bad or have any pain, but if I had I definitely would of felt better by just laughing along with Liz as I was being registered in. I was called back after just 10 minutes and greeted by a wonderful nurse and Doctor! I could tell the staff at this emergency care facility really enjoy what they do and care about each person they meet and treat. Definitely recommend!
They were over 30 minutes late with my appointment, which isn’t the biggest deal - but if you allow appointments, be on time. The big issue I had was the cleanliness of this office. It was really gross. So gross that I took pictures. There were spill/splatter stains on the walls and cabinets that had clearly been “wiped” off, but we’re still there. There was trash on the floor and large quantities of dust/dirt along the baseboards.A medical Office should be clean. Period.
Was very disappointed with our visit today. Dr/NP did not even look at my ears or throat after telling him my ears were starting to hurt and thought I had an infection and needed antibiotics. He kept saying that I needed to see my primary Dr but my primary dr had a 2 month wait for an appt and after coughing my head off for 3 weeks I needed to be seen. My husband was also seen and was not given antibiotics even though his eyes were swollen and matted and he was coughing up green snot, His ears are now hurting and he is gonna have to make another dr visit to get antibiotics. Care was not as expected and will probably go elsewhere from now on.
The process for the walk in patient was very efficient. I did not have to wait long and the waiting room was set up for social distancing. The team members were friendly and very helpful. Dr Hawkesworth was great and explained things in a very easy to understand way. I would definitely return here for care and have already recommended to a friend.
Had scheduled appt. at 9 am for simple urine test. Did all paperwork prior to appt. Arrived early. At 0930 I ask when I would be called and a little (Puerto Rican?) lady told me there were 3 ahead of me even though walk-in flu shots that arrived after 9 were being taken first. I sat back down and that same lady came into the middle of the waiting room and abruptly yelled loudly, “Thank God it’s Friday.” People were shocked , especially those who were sick. She then said, “Nobody here cares, I guess. But it’s so nice to have a weekend off!” Then she went back into the reception area. At 9:45 I again asked and was finally taken back. It took less than 10 minutes, but still made me late for another appt. Why have appointments if you can’t come anywhere close to keeping them. And why have a snarky receptionist who cares only about her weekend off and loudly announcing it in front of sick patients. What has happened to professionalism? I am a retired Nurse Practitioner/Anesthetist with a Masters in Health Services Management. I would give that receptionist every weekend—and every weekday—off as well.
Me and my sister and niece had an appointment and we still had to wait almost an hour, the office lady and the nurse was so rude even though we were being nice and trying to make their day better . The only person being professional and nice was our doctor. I get that covid has made health care workers super stressed out, but it’s ridiculous to take it out on people. Never coming back to this one again.
What a joke. Made an appointment for 12:30. Get a message shortly after telling me itll be a 41 minute wait and my new time would be 1:10. I got there the 15 minutes early that it asked, followed instructions and checked in from my car. Close to 2pm I call the number from the sign and ask what the wait was looking like and was told that I was pushed back again to 1:53 and shouldve gotten a message (I did not) Went inside and sat for another hour until I was brought to a room. Got a simple swab done (one Ive gotten before) and it took till 4 to have the doctor come back to tell me to try Tylenol and allergy meds. I asked for discharge paperwork. 10 minutes later someone came into the room forgetting I was even in there. Ill never go back to this location again. Terrible experience.
Told me it as an almost 300 minute wait. There were only 4 people waiting. Do they really expect me to believe they spend almost 75 minutes with each person they see. Will have to wait till doctors care opens tomorrow, since my personal doctor is too busy to see her patients.
No complaints from me! We were treated so nicely. Not much wait time. Had X-rays and was immediately told I had a break in my ankle. Doc came in and looked at it, got me a brace and I was out the door. Highly recommend for your urgent care needs.
I usually go to my personal doctor but I hurt my foot over the weekend & it couldnt wait until Monday. Sunday was my first visit & I have to say I was very impressed. Staff was very professional & caring. The facility was super clean. Highly recommend AFC Urgent Care when you cant get to your own doctor. Oh yeah, the music playing in the waiting room was awesome!
My issue wasn’t the wait cause with urgent care, you never know. My only issue was the doctor who saw me and talked to me about my symptoms in the room was too casual and loud about it. And the lab test I needed was shouted at the nurses station. Also been tracking down my lab results for days. When I got a callback, I was at work, so I missed it, unfortunately, but I called back, and I kept getting the answering machine. Also, prescriptions were sent to my pharmacy, and I have no idea or information about what it is treated for. It would be nice if they had a MyChart or some online system for patients to know the medicine or lab results; this would cut down on phone tagging or waiting days.
I’ve visited this place a couple times in the past. I had a bit of a wait the last time; however, I waited two hours past my appointment time for a visit that took less than 5 minutes. I feel that this was a ridiculous amount of time wasted at this clinic. It’s like what’s the point of making an appointment online when I can’t be seen at said time? I’ve never had this issue at CVS Minute Clinic so I will be going there from now on.
Extremely disappointed with my experience here on multiple occasions. The nurses/doctors are generally nice, but they really need to work on their appointments/wait time. My virtual appointment was scheduled for 3:01PM...its currently 5:40PM. Ive been staring at myself on camera for hours. Ive called twice and no one can seem to tell me when Ill see an actual provider. Completely unprofessional.
Horrible experience. never returning unless i absolutely have to. lady at the front desk was beyond rude and vocalized she only cared for my money. very hateful and talked bad about other patients when they left the lobby, right in front of us. whoever the white lady with black hair and glasses was at the desk has no common curtesy and shouldn’t be working customer service with that snatchy tone and hateful attitude. never leave bad complaints because i understand people have bad days but when its a doctors office and you have people coming in who need help, especially running a fever of 102° that are paying you money to treat them, you treat them like a decent human being and not like theyre an inconvenience to you for being sick or in need of help. ill gladly just drive to the powdersville location instead.
I was seen virtually on 09/14/22 for a deep cough, stuffy nose and sore throat. The doctor who “saw” me (and I use that term loosely) was on the phone with me for literally 30 seconds after waiting for her to come on the line for 7 minutes. She glanced at me over the virtual visit for a split second and diagnosed me with a sinus infection and bronchitis. How can you accurately diagnose someone with bronchitis if you never even listen to their lungs or even LOOK at the patient?? I felt my visit was rushed and I was passed over.
Great experience! Check-in was smooth and quick. Receptionist was very nice and efficient. Was seen within 10 mins. Nurse that took my history and vitals was pleasant. Dr. listened to why I was there and ordered appropriate testing. Would definitely return if I ever needed to.
It was good. Very easy to get in and out of. My only issue was they told me to do a televisit because my son had Covid symptoms (with is fine) the problem was it was scheduled for 2pm and the provider didn’t get on until 30 mins later. Other than that it was a good experience the test results were fast he the medicine was sent straight to the Pharmacy of our choice. I’ll definitely use them again.
Hands down the best urgent care experience Ive had. I never expect to be seen on time in the medical field, but an appointment is exactly that at this location. The staff is not only friendly, but knowledgeable. If you need an x-ray like I did the tech there is as smart as she is pretty. I think her name is Bella.
It is very slow waiting in the waiting room after signing in. They took 3 people when on the screen it says I was next. It is now 12:05 my appointment was at 11:00. Its been like this for years, but my family doctor did not have an opening today and Im very dissatisfied with the lack of communication, and the process of keeping us in 1 place, with no help. Its like sitting in sickness and they will not help.
I believe the reception should really know the wait time before telling someone that has her family waiting in the car and I explained that as well as explaining we had plans at 2pm in Anderson! And I was told 15 minutes it was 50 mins just to do a drug screening.
Save yourself the frustration and just go to the ER. At least there you wont have to sit and hear about their speedy service that gets you in and out in about an hour - while waiting a total of 3 in the waiting room. Then theres the additional hour where you wait in a private room for another hour. Just waiting on test results. So far 45 minutes later than told to expect results....The ONLY redemptive quality at this place is that Dr. Clardy has a great beside manner and truly shouldnt be relegated to this dumpster fire of an urgent care. The nurse that worked with me was super nice too. Really, every one I came into contact with was nice and looked just as frustrated as me. Maybe had something to do with the 4-5 employees sitting in Exam Room 4.Or maybe people are just trash and dont know how to use an urgent care. Or maybe our health care system overall is just trash.Either way just go to the ER. At least you know what youre getting into there.
This was our second experience at AFC Easley and both of them have been outstanding. From very pleasant and helpful folks at the front window, to excellent and helpful nurses and techs to the excellent doctors - weve been very happy with their help. The doctors took time to explain everything in the right amount of detail - and listened to our comments and questions. We never felt rushed - and being able to pre-schedule appointments online is helpful as well. All in all, the best Urgent Care facility weve ever used.
Everyone Here was super professional. They took my concern seriously and ran a few tests and an xray. They were very reassuring and calm even though I was frightened. They were also very patient with me even though I was moving slowly.Honestly it was just so nice to deal with a doctor who actually cared about my well-being.The only downside was the wait time. I was a Dane day appointment so I knew it was gonna be a bit, but oof.
All of the staff were welcoming and friendly. I was quite slow moving on crutches with an injured ankle and I didnt feel rushed at all. I made an appointment online and my visit was less than an hour, X-rays included.
Took an at home COVID test, came up positive.Did an online appointment for 330p yesterday to do the drive up COVID test.Called at 5pm to see what the status of the virtual appt was. Immediately got the link. Joined the virtual appt at 5:02pm.At 5:32 sent a chat asking what’s going onAt 5:49 called the office to see what was going on. The lady who answered the phone didn’t ask my name or anything and said “Yeah, the Dr has been trying to connect with you, I don’t know, we’ll have her restart her computer and maybe send a new link” then 15 minutes go by, I’m still in the virtual appt waiting (now a total of 1 hr) and it occurred to me that the woman didn’t ask my name, how could she know who I am? So I called again and get told this time that the Dr is dealing with an emergency in the back and they are 1.5hrs behind. The lady then canceled my virtual appt and made one at 830 this morning for me to come into the office. I explained again, that I definitely have COVID I just need a proper test with paperwork and she said that’s no problem, just come into the office in the morning.I arrived this morning before my appointment time and checked in at the front desk. I was asked again for my drivers license and insurance card (even though I already supplied that via the online registration). When I mentioned this the women at the front desk got very nasty attitudes. I was only asking why they needed it again. I then sat for 30 minutes in the waiting room with other people while being COVID positive until I decided this isn’t worth the stress and aggravation and I walked out. Grand total, 4 hours of my time has been wasted while I’m sick and I can’t wait to see if you guys charge my insurance twice for the virtual appt yesterday and the in office visit today. Maybe look at all the recent 1 star reviews and take appropriate action.
Fast and friendly service with a smile. Thorough details of what is wrong and what steps are being taken to care for you by the staff and doctors. Explained in detail of medicines being prescribed to you. Staff, nurses, and doctors provided excellent care and concern. Thank you AFC!! Yall are awesome.
Went in and asked how long a Wait? The lady said an hour and a half. So I decided to stay. But it took almost 3 hours to finally get out of there. The staff were doing there jobs...Im just wondering if the place could get an extra doctor...Dont know if doctor is overwhelmed or what. I was a nurse for 8 years and I did see alot of understaffed.
First of all, be careful with Telecare appointments. It will kick you off without letting you know. You call after not hearing from them for an hour. Their comment is you can come in and wait or get an appointment tomorrow. I need an appointment today. Receptionist says come up and we will try to get you in as soon as possible. Get to location, I was told we will put you in your original place of appointment at 12:36 pm. Watch people go in and out… it’s 4:16 and still have not been seen. This place has no integrity. They just tell you what you want to hear so you will not be upset. Just tell m it’s going to be 3 hours so I can go elsewhere. Shame on you!
Went in for x-rays & this place got the job done. There was a long wait, which was fine. One worker in particular was extremely insensitive towards my situation & caused me to cry. Other workers there were very nice; however, and comforted me after the situation.Overall, I won’t be going back.
On a Friday night, I walked right in and was seen within ten minutes! The care I received was compassionate and competent. I felt the diagnosis was thorough, and the provider took time to patiently answer the questions of and listen to a VERY sick person. The value of the kindness shown me? Priceless!
Liz at the front desk was wonderfully fun to talk to. She helps make a bad (sick) day into at least a moment of clarity and laughter. The entire staff was great, sweet, and full of joy, all while being professional. I highly recommend this certain Urgent care facility
Staff was professional, prompt and answered any questions I had. I waited no longer than 10 minutes to be seen. I will definitely continue using AFC Easley for future medical care. Last appointment with this office on 11/4...5 STARS!!! Thanks for always exceeding my expectations AFC! 7/22/2023 First time doing my DOT physical at AFC. Appt was at 1:00 and I was finished by 1:30! My physical was cheaper than what Ive been paying for the last 15 years! Thanks again AFC! Keep up the good work!
I visited last night. It was 7:00 pm I knew it was almost time to close but not once did I feel like I wasnt wanted! I was welcomed. The girl at the front desk was so sweet. Greeted me with a big smile. My nurse was absolutely precious. I wish I would have gotten her name. She was so sweet to me and carried on conversations with me. Completely made me feel like Welcomed. She even came back and checked on me to make sure I was okay while waiting. The doctor came in and was just as sweet. Checked me out game me tips to help me get well. My visit was awesome. I cant say enough about the caring staff members I dealt with. I hope you let them know what they meant to me
I am so happy my co-worker referred AFC Urgent Care. The facility was nice and clean, the receptionist was polite and informative, the nurse was caring and concerned. The doctor asked questions, did a complete exam pertaining to my illness, showed compassion, very articulate. I was new and had to fill out paperwork and I still got out within a hour and a half. Will definitely go back. 🤗
I made an online appointment for 5:12pm. When I arrived, I told the woman I had filled out the paperwork online and she rudely snapped that I still had to fill out paperwork. I had to wait until 6pm for my appointment. I got a TB skin test which I had a bad reaction to so I didnt make it out of the house the next day and when I went back the following day to get the results read, the nurse snapped at me that my test had expired. My arm had a red bump on it and I just asked her if it looked normal and again she snapped at me saying she couldnt tell me and that Id have to start the whole process over again. I dont know why the people couldnt say what they need to convey without being so RUDE and SNAPPY (and I also dont get the point of the online appointment seeing as I had to wait 45 minutes to be seen). As an aside, I likely had a false-positive result due to having a BCG vaccine as a kid, which I didnt know anything about until I Googled it due to the red bump on my arm. Thank goodness for Google, cuz Im sure the nurse wouldnt have known that if she did bother to look at my arm. And it would also have been nice if the nurse who did the test would have verbally told me the time that my test expired instead of just handing me a piece of paper with the info on it. Thats just something they could teach you to be mindful of when you go to nursing school.
I made an appointment to prevent sitting in the waiting room, I was made to sit in my vehicle for two (!) hours past my appointment time before they would see me.I was not allowed to sit in the waiting room because I refuse to wear a mask. Youd think a medical facility would realize that three years after the onset of a so called pandemic, everyone has either had or had been exposed to said pandemic.
I will be back when necessary all the staff were professional and Matthew MCCLUSKEY has perfect bedside manner and actually listens to how the patient is physically feeling. Had I not found yall I would have been in ICU before Monday. I know my body I have had puemonia 6 times since 2013 . Thank everyone there I feel the team saved me from the ER and ICU.
This facility was wonderful. The wait time was very short. We were in and out of there in less than an hour. The entire staff was very nice, caring and friendly. It was bright and clean. I brought my daughter here for some urgent care and concerns. They addressed all of her concerns, treated her with respect and put her mind at ease. We were so relieved and grateful. Donna Marling, NP saw her. She was awesome! I would absolutely use this facility again.
The receptionist was incredibly rude, after recovering from brain surgery you would think they would be a little more compassionate, I have never met some that works with the the public that was so rude. I went there three times and every time she was ugly to me. I would not recommend this location to anyone.
The doctors on the telehealth visit were very nice, and the nurses that administered the swab were very kind. Also they were very informing with my positive test and answered every question I had with patience. The only thing I didnt like was the wait for the telehealth visit, but other than that I would definitely recommend this place to others.
I had been sick for two weeks and had gone to another facility and left with no help. I then went to AFCUrgent Care in Easley and was treated with respect and listened to. I left with medication called in to a pharmacy. I will recommend this facility to everyone because of their friendliness, helpfulness and professionalism.
Scheduled a flu shot appointment and was told by the Front Desk attendant that they dont take insurance and dont do the insurance billing when I handed her my insurance card and DL. Then she told me it cost $39 for a flu shot. She proceeded to hold onto my DL for 10 mins while she waited to check with the manager to get her story straight. I finally asked for my ID back and left. The website clearly states they take all major insurance. Waste of time.
This was an excellent experience, I got sick a few days before Christmas and there were no office appointments available. I spoke with a doctor directly and she sent the script to the pharmacy right away. Would definitely recommend this service!
With no advanced scheduling. Waiting room under six minutes. While sitting in waiting room, I hear a gentle soft voice calling my name. I stood up, looked over and headed that direction. Introduced herself, Hello Im Heather, will be taking care of you now... I followed her into another room. Stood next to her while she was doing things on computer. Heather says, Donald please put all of your stuff in my drawer. she was so straight forward I never had a woman wanting all of my stuff in her drawer only knowing her for few seconds. Putting everything in her clean and extremely good looking drawer. She remarked, here is the key to my drawer.(I never had a key to a womens drawer, very excited) She spoke so kindly with that soft and caring voice, Donald this will take under five minutes. Went into another room for privacy. She was absolutely correct the pressure was gone under five minutes. Walked back to room with computer. Heather was very happy smiling. (As if I did a good job). The temperature is good, I know its clean. Heather said, its time Donald , get all of your junk out of my drawer.I hesitated giving Heather her drawer key back knowing our time was over.
High BP and my dr cannot see me now and suggested I try urgent care. They checked my BP and saw that it was not normal. A dr or nurse.came in and told me there was nothing they could for me. They charged me $40 to get this treatment. I asked them for a refund and was told it didn’t work that way. So I’m out of this money with no results.
I went online & made my daughter an in office appointment for 3:56pm for an ear infection. (Weird time, I know) We arrived at 3:40 in case it took a little while to get checked in even though I did the e-registration. When we got there we did have to do fill out 2 sheets of paper. They said where switch software so they had to scan everything back into their new software. Ok, fine, no big deal. We was done with the papers by 3:50. Fast forward to 5:00, we’d just got put into a room. We sat in the room waiting to see a doctor until 5:36. She was in there all of 2 mins. Looked in her ears. Yes she had an ear infection of the canal & ear drum so she was putting her on ear drops & an oral antibiotic. She left said she’d be right back with discharge papers. I finally walk out of the room at 5:55 & ask the nurse how much longer it’d be because at the rate we was going (having been there since 3:45) we weren’t even going to make it to our pharmacy before they closed at 7. My daughter was in ALOT of pain so I wanted to go ahead & get a around of drops & one dose of antibiotic in her before bed. The nurse said she’d check on it. She asked the doctor & the doctor told her where the papers were & the nurse said “oh ok. right here” needless to say we out of there by 6:05. I was livid at this point. There is ABSOLUTELY no reason why it should have taken that long. If they are under staffed then they don’t need to accept so many appointments.. it’s that simple. I will not be returning to them anytime soon. That’s stinks too because I used to love them so much; it was always fast, friendly & clean.
The wait room time is most ridiculous! I could understand if there were alot of patients but both times I’ve been there with second time only to see the nurse I waited more than an hour with only 5 or less in the waiting room and two of them to see the nurse and two online appts….Second time I even made the online “reservation” appt!!! Not acceptable!
Well I usually use them because they are very good about appointments and patient care. Well not today June 24th. I set an appointment online at 10:45 which was the first available and I got there at 10:43. Checked in and what do you know we were put on the board then. I realized it after sitting down and asked then if I had an appointment at 10:45 why am I having to wait behind 4 walk ins? They said it would be only 20 more minutes at 11:10. Well at 11:45 my husband went to ask again how much longer because I have to go to work and we only have the one car. They said soon and told him the walk ins were in line first and I said how can that be since we made an appointment at 9:45 this morning for 10:45 and I have the email to show our confirmed appointment. How come this is how appointments get treated what’s the point of making an appointment if walk ins apparently get jumped in front of those appointments. I am a stylist so I know how walk ins and appointments work it’s no different. Unless someone comes in with more of an emergency. But I think a possibility of a broken bone and someone being in extreme pain should definitely be put before a walk-in especially when they have an appointment
I was told to check in through text message when I arrived at the facility & not to get out of my car because I had Covid symptoms. I texted when I arrived, it sent me a confirmation text saying I was checked in & they would call me when they wanted me to come in. I sat in my car for 45 mins before I called the front desk to see if there was a problem with my appointment. They said I had to check in at the front desk. I went inside & they had forgotten about my appointment. I was taken to a room where I waited 20 mins to be seen by the doctor. After the doctor left she said, Im calling in your prescription & they will get your discharge paperwork. I waited for another 25 mins, when I then opened my door & the nurse saw me & said oh your discharge papers, I forgot Im sorry. Cvs texted me that my prescriptions were ready for pick up before I was discharged. I made the appointment time online because I have a breastfed baby at home with his father & I couldnt be gone too long because he needed to eat. I arrived at 11:15, (15 mins earlier than my appointment like the website told me to do) & I left at 1:13. 3 hours to be swabbed & for a doctor to be in the room for 3 mins. Online walk in time was estimated at 70-88 mins. I made an appointment & I waited longer than if I had walked in. I was forgotten about twice.
I’m here on vacation so I’m not sure if they have different standards then where I live but things would have been different back home. When I made my baby appointment the day prior the nurse explained that she will not be seeing exactly at that time so I arrived to the appointment 30 minutes after. After waiting for a bit I asked for them to call and headed to my car to wait. After some time I called to see when she would be seen. My baby wasn’t seen until over 2hrs later then my appt time. There was no protective sheet on the table. I sprayed the exam table and placed a cover on it. They asked me the weight of my child instead of checking on their own. I had to ask them to take it while there. Doctor said I could give my baby ibuprofen although she is only 4 months. I had to tell the dr. that she was too young to have ibuprofen. The Dr. was adamant that she could, advised me that I should talk to the pharmacist when I pick up her prescription then later came back to the room and explained that I was right and she was too young for over the counter ibuprofen. I said she wasn’t nursing for long and I’m nervous she’s getting dehydrated, that wasn’t addressed. Her body was not checked. She had a temp. and Tylenol wasn’t mentioned. Of course I have common sense and was going to give that to her anyways. I said she was spacey and not herself, that wasn’t addressed. I asked about checking her ears for an ear infection and they said one ear was a little red and prescribed her a med. While packing up they asked if I wanted to give my baby a COVID test instead of automatically giving her one.Needless to say her symptoms got worst, was very dehydrated and did have COVID.The staff was friendly but I wasn’t there for friendliness.I will not be returning there.
Front desk was great and online check in easy. The nurse was funny and easy to talk to. But the older doctor we had was not. We did not feel taken care of, he had us wash the wound our selfs in the sink in the room with soap and water, could of done that at home. Examined it for 2 seconds then had the nurse wrap it back up. Waste of time and did not ease our concerns at all.
I was seen on August 7th 2022 at AFC in Easley SC. I had a longer wait.I Was okay with that issue. People are sick and deserve the proper care. The staff in the back (NURSES)and Dr were Great! The problem I have is the absolute disrespect and rudeness of the staff up front. They are rude as soon as you approach them at the window. I had to call 3 times to get them to redirect my antibiotic to a pharmacy that was open. CVS was the only one open this Sunday.By the way CVS is across the road from them in Easley. They still called it in another CVS. The pharmacist in the Easley CVS had to override the other and fill my antibiotics. Each time I called they never verified anything. The third call I made I let them know how rude they were and not verifying a persons information for medication is dangerous. And exactly what pharmacy was open and could be used. All Liz(her name I believe)could say was Im not the one that you spoke to HONEY. First of all my name is not HONEY. Second it doesnt matter who answered your phone. When someone has an issue with service and the way it was being handled. You listen. Then try and resolve the issue and apologize. Not talk down to the person and blame your co workers. This was not the first time I was met with such rudeness. Our company uses them for our DOT and drug screens. I had a routine drug test done recently and was met with a crappie attitude then!If your not happy with your job find another one. Thats how I believe they felt about being there. Sick people should not be met with such ugliness when seeking help. The people that gave this AFC a high rating.Bless you! You got lucky that day.I have worked in the medical field for 20 years now in different capacities. Including customer service.
I was mandated to head over immediately for a walk in urinalysis. Staff was great- from the time I walked in to filling a cup was roughly 15min. Masks are mandated, but that ridiculousness is not the staffs fault. Fast, easy, and out the door.
The provider was excellent!! When they saw I needed cough syrup... within minutes I got a notification from my pharmacy that it had been called in! Fastest service Ive ever had on that! Im completely satisfied with my virtual appointment! Id 100% recommend AFC Urgent Care to anyone!! I myself would go back but I hope I dont have too...lol
Everyone was very professional. The visit was easy to schedule and they were quick to see me once I checked in. The physician listened and explained things to me. I would choose to be seen here again.
Had a virtual visit. Provider was excellent. She was very polite, knowledgeable, and caring with a bedside manner. Something very rare these days. Answered all questions without any hesitation. She was great. The young lady that performed my test outside, was as pleasant as you will find. If I were to open a clinic, I would try to recruit those two ladies away from you. They both were the epitome of health care customer service. You are fortunate to have them both on your team.
AFC is always a horrible experience. I made an appointment for a DOT physical and waited 1.5 hrs. I wasted 2 hours of my day for something that took less than 30 minutes. I’ve had this experience before but decided to give it one more chance. Never again.
Prepare yourself to wait!!!! Online states “schedule appointment”. Here we are and have waited over an hour and half past our “appointment”. The lady at the front said it’s a time slot that was reserved not an appointment. Not sure why online states “appointment”. I should have taken the 3:00 appointment so that way it would have been more on “my time” I needed. They really need to change their scheduling system!!! Trying to cram in people so they get their “money”. No respect for people who have lives.
I wish there was an option for negative stars. I am in tears from the lack of care and respect. I have no babysitters and had to bring in all four of my children, two of them being babies. I have had very severe sharp rib pain for over two weeks and have tried taking ibuprofen and using compresses for it. This office made me unnecessarily wait (the office had only one other patient) for two and a half hours to discharge me by saying to take more 200 MG ibuprofen and use compresses. I have been in so much pain I cannot barely pick up my children and have no help to do this. I needed medical care and attention and this PA lady who was working today did not care about me or how much pain I was in.
Never thought I’d have the pleasure of leaving a 5 star review at a medical facility, but here I am. As a new patient, I was in and out in under 40 minutes. Every member of the staff was incredibly kind and actually listened thoroughly to my explanation of my problem. I really appreciate the dedication to making quick healthcare more simple and affordable. Great experience.
This place deserves five stars. All the staff is very friendly, welcoming and will take great care of you with little to no wait time. Awesome job you guys and thank you for your amazing service today!
Every time I need to come in, I receive the help I need.Just be very clear about what you need and they will help you!Team is always nice and know what they’re doing, that makes me feels safe and tranquil. During my last visit I got invited to participate on a research program and I got paid 175.00.
We were traveling back to NY and needed a covid test right away . AFC urgent care went out of their way to fit my husband and I in immediately. Results were quick. Dr and nurses were friendly and phenomenal!! NY Urgent care could take a lesson from them ... Excellent !♥️
My wife used today for an upper respiratory infection and seasonal allergies. We accessed the virtual visit option and were well pleased with the clear instructions, the professionalism of the staff and the provider being both knowledgeable and a great communicator. We will definitely use again and recommend highly.
When in a few days after experiencing a fall on cement hitting my head and back...experiencing sharp pain in my lower right back side...waited over 3+ hours to be seen...another hour or so only to be told by the doctor that an X-ray was not necessary. The only thing they did was take my vitals...did not look in my eyes, check for a bump on head or even really did not appear to want to check area of my pain. I insisted on x-ray due to my sharp pain I was experiencing...it came out ok...but I did not feel my time was well spent for the limited evulation which I received. Im 63 years old.
The woman was very nice and helpful. My appointment was for 7:20 and I was rushing to be home before then. They started calling at 7:00, however, and I kept declining it as I was driving. I got home and called back at 7:15. It was strange that they started calling me so early. Otherwise, great experience.
Was in and out within an hour. Was even nice enough to give me medication I needed until my pcp and I could get it figured out. Probably the nicest staff I have seen at one of these. They actually have a sense of humor which is nice and don’t act all dead inside. I’ll be back here if needed for sure
They were busy and assist all patients as quickly as possible. The staff was friendly and helpful. My doctor was very helpful and informative to help me take care of myself.
Avoid going here! Worst experience I have ever had at an Urgent Care Facility. The receptionist was snippy and rude. She showed little concern for the fact that I was sick. She made me feel like I was a burden on her day for showing up. Next, the doctor was in the room for MAYBE a minute before leaving to write me a prescription. Yes, I was in and out in 25 minutes. But I would’ve much rather been there longer and made to feel like I was actually being cared for. I was the only patient in the entire building and the entire staff acted like they had something else more important to do. I would highly recommend you choose ANYWHERE else to go.
Although it was my first experience with AFC Urgent Care- it was easy to request a virtual visit and APR Stacy Fender seemed genuinely concerned about my health and made me feel like I had known her forever.
Guarantee that your online prescheduled in office appointment will be no less than 1 to 3 hrs later than what you scheduled it for. Also, they lose paperwork like crazy. When it comes to the staff, No one knows what anyone else is doing. Do not recommend coming here unless you absolutely have to.
Took my mother this morning, with coughing and chest congestion. Staff added her, a little wait, but once in a room it wasn’t long before a nurse practitioner came in and checked her out. Really nice lady, Donna Marler. Very nice and the same nurse practitioner she saw another time. The staff is friendly and I would recommend coming here if you can’t get an appointment with your regular physician or if it’s “Urgent Care” that you need.
The front desk staff was friendly, professional and sympatric to my illness. The nursing staff was the same. The doctor was also very friendly and efficient in diagnosing and recommending the appropriate medication. The doctor or the nurse called in the prescriptions promptly and I was able to pick it and start my journey to wellness. The wait time was very short. I would recommend this service to my friends and family.
First impressions were very positive. Clean waiting room and inviting. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Doctor came in the room in a very timely manner and was very upbeat and friendly.
Friendly staff and provider. Bud I asked to have my sons perscription sent to a specific Walmart pharmacy and they send it to one that is 3 towns away for some reason. And I asked for school more for him and they said yes it’s in there, we’ll I’m glad I checked because no note. Waited over 2 hours with only 2 ppl in front of me in the waiting room.
Thank you , Dr. Jason Gosnell! You really listen and give great advice. You might have also saved my life about adding a bp third pill since my bp was running 170/101average since my stroke 10 years ago. You helped me so much! You also may have found the reason for all the major stomach issues with that too without meaning to. Nobody has cared enough to address either. Not with all the docs I have seen.if you ever have your own practice I want to be the first one. Thank you for saving me from hating all docs. Youve restored my faith. In at least some. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
One thing that I think makes a health care office stand out is their front desk staff and how they treat the patient/customer. At Easley AFC Urgent Care, I spoke with several different office staff with questions of my own or routine call backs in preparation for my visit. Each person I spoke with was as kind and understanding as the last. I couldn’t have asked for better treatment. My Telemed PA/MD was equally as understanding and respected my time as well as their own. Overall I had a very positive experience and would call them again if needed.
You guys are awesome! Donna Marling, I felt like she finally listened to me! And heard what I had to say! She is a wonderful nurse practitioner!!! I would definitely recommend this urgent care to others! The staff is great! Very professional, and friendly!!!! Love this place!
My appointment was at 10 am. Didn’t get called back till 11 am then didn’t see a NP or DR until around 12 pm. Then he wanted to do a chest X-ray never come in to tellMe if it was clear or anything and was out the door at 1:10 pm. Confused af. Messaged my PCP and they called the next morning wanting to see me ASAP. I’ll know more tomorrow. Cause, I wanted to wait till tomorrow to see if I was feeling any better first and as of right now nope.
This place sucks!!Time after time nothing changes!! Even after getting a online appointment, I still had to wait there 1.5 hours in the lobby before they called me in. Another hour inside waiting for results. Doctor was unprofessional assuming I have STDs due to being a young male. She Sent in more urine samples for more labwork but I havent heard anything back and this was week ago. Terrible place. I will never ever come back to this place. Just go to the hospital, your normal doctor, or another AFC location. This one genuinely sucks. Trust me
Every staff member I interacted with was absolutely wonderful. Dr Moody was so kind and thorough. Heather, the office manager, was friendly, funny, and conversational, all while quickly providing the information I needed. Connor, who called with my lab results, was very helpful. When I asked him a follow up question, he went back through Dr Moodys notes to find the answer for me. This team goes above and beyond for their patients.
This is such a respectful, kind urgent care, working in medical is such a touchy subject. We have to acknowledge that the faculty, including doctors have to be careful with each patient to detail our problems, so this means that it can be time consuming. I appreciate you for everything you’ve done for me getting me well, especially during the times my doctors office is closed! I appreciate you taking family, holiday, after doctors office times to take care of the pubic that comes in sick. UrgentCare offers mission trip shots, clean facility, kind assistants, including the reception desk. We also have to realize that everyone will not sign in and be immediately seen. So, sometimes it is I’m accountable of the emergency of each person. Just, be respectful and thankful for the medical team, it’s not always inviting to be sick, but always know that the medical faculty is there for each person, and it can take some situations depending on the medical need more time than others. Thank them for being there for us!! Grateful! Tammy
The nurse I had (Bailey G) was awesome. She was very professional but I could tell she really cared about me and my health. Very rare to find quality, knowledgeable, and caring people like her these days.Plus the provider ( Thenderson ) answered all my questions, thorough, fantastic and friendly. Great job guys!!
It was a fast and very pleasant visit. I waited in the waiting room for 5 mins excluding the paper work before I was called to be seen. My doctor was very professional she greeted me with a smile and actually listened to me which is rare in most doctors offices. I will definitely be back for any speedy doctor visits.
Our appointment was at 2pm 2/14/23 went on video at 2:19pm and I had to call and cancel at 3:30pm cause I had to leave for work still haven’t seen a doctor. Rescheduled for 8am 2/15/23 we didn’t get the text until 9:05am. Still haven’t seen a doctor and she has been out of school all week.
I was only there for 30-45 minutes the entire time. The entire facility seemed clean and the staff was kind. Dr. Suits performed a quick and thorough exam and was to the point. Far exceeding my expectations for an urgent care office, I give AFC 5 stars.
The nurses were rude. I was kept waiting for an hour for my flu test results and an additional 30 minutes just for my prescriptions to be put in. I spent 2 1/2 hours here. The doctor was very nice and seemed to know his stuff. But the rest of the staff seemed to just be sitting around.
So I made an online appointment for my son to get seeing because he was not feeling good and because we were in the car waiting everyone alse got seen except us. 2 hrs later and they still cant get it together. Super unhappy with the service they provided and very unprofessional. This will be the last time I come in. You are probably better off going directly to the hospital..
Quick in and out experience, even with a moderately packed waiting room. Staff was courteous and professional, especially Sarah, and facilities/supplies all seemed very neat and in order. Thanks!
The nurse or assistant that took me back was excellent! As far as the two women in there mid-late 40’s they were extremely rude and I showed up as soon as they opened. They failed to give correct instructions then basically called me a liar. Terrible attitudes
Sit for hours yesterday and ran out of time because i actually have a life. came back first thing this morning. was told they open at 8. didn’t get in until almost 9 because the doors were still locked. receptionist didn’t show up until 9:20. still have yet to see anybody called back 1 1/2 hours after they were supposed to open.the ones that were here were polite and helpful. other than that, i wouldn’t recommend this place.
I never write reviews, but feel this experience was absolutely horrible. I did not come in contact with 1 nice person during my visit today. All employees were extremely disrespectful. I would have talked with someone over the phone about the unnecessary rude behavior, but I had literally no voice. I understand that the healthcare industry right now is stressful, but there is no reason to have a bad attitude to the people that are sick and patiently waiting!
Donna (NP) listened carefully when I talked about my symptoms and was thorough with her own questions. She was professional and caring. Im already feeling better with the meds she prescribed (after one day). I felt like she was genuinely concerned about helping me get well and I was not just a number, as is the situation these days in many medical facilities. Highly recommended.
I walked in vs making an appt on line but my wait time was only 40 min. The staff was friendly and patient. I got a NP and she was excellent at explaining and understanding my symptoms. She addressed every need. Great experience! I have a regular doc but when one is sick on a Sunday, it is an awesome place!
Love the nurses that started with our baby and the Doctor was awesome! Lady at the front who checked us in was really nice. It was a plus that we didn’t have a long wait. I think we were there maybe 30-45 minutes.
Excellent care. I was impressed with receptionist giving update on wait time. The staff was very busy, remained professional throughout the care of their patients. As an ER nurse myself I highly recommend this facility.
The staff was pretty nice. If you dont have insurance, they will charge you alot of money, look at you for less then a minute and just prescribe you something that doesnt do anything to fix what ever issue your having.. My problem still persists, but I wont be back as they would likely just charge me more money and again not determine what the issue is, wasting my time and stealing my money without proper treatment.
My son was hit in the nose with a baseball and because he had shattered it before we went in to see if it needed set again. They were very friendly and quick to get us in. The atmosphere along with the staff were all professional yet easy going. Thankfully able to answer our concern and get us right back out the door in about 30 minutes.
My family doctor could not see me for 2 days, she suggested I call AFC Urgent Care in Easley. They did a video visit with me and after the visit called in some medications to help. I had been talking over the counter medications for 4 days, COVID and Flu test were negative. This was a very good suggestion.
Nothing urgent about having to wait an hour to pass in a cup..I didnt choose you I was sent to you. After finally being tended to ,I have to say the lady was pleasant, but the tatted white nurse taking cigarette breaks while people patiently wait while pinching their bladders is not very professional
Would give Zero starts if this were possible. Went to AFC on a Sunday as I could not get in to see my regular doctor on the weekend. I waited about 20-30 minutes longer than when my appointment was scheduled for. When Dr. Clardy came in, he quickly glanced at my concern and then MISDIAGNOSED me and gave me a prescription that did not help. I wound up having to get an appointment with my primary doctor 4 days later where she had to give me an antibiotic since the urgent care doctor did not. HIGHLY would NOT recommend.
Only negative thing on my last boat was I had to wait right at an hour, when there was only 1 person in the waiting area when I got there. But was back in the treatment room everyone was very nice and very timely. Have been several time with my kids and husband always please with service.
Great service! I have to say I was very pleased with how my visit went. I brought myself and my baby in for a visit. Everyone was very nice and courteous. The facility was nice. I was seen very quickly. What I loved the most is that the doctor I saw really took her time with me. She answered every question I had. She really seemed like she cared. They called me back a few days later to see if I was better. Id go back.
The lady upfront was nice. However, i told them i was there for High Blood Pressure. They took my $50 copay and i waited. When they call me in they took my BP and did a covid test and a flu test. The NP came in and said the BP was high but they cant prescribe anything, to go to the ER if i feel worse and call my primary care dr. So, why didnt they tell me that when i signed in? They wasted my time and my money.
Quick, efficient, friendly service. All staff competent and super compassionate.
Worst doctors office ive ever been to, i went in for a second drug test and was on time, they made me wait 57 min. I was in the system signed in and they already had a printed copy of my pass well before my epass expired. If it wasnt for them making me wait so long i would have already had it done. Not only that, but they were the ones who messed up my first drug test. DONT COME HERE. Terrible service, they make you wait FOREVER. Plus walk in drug tests from an employer are supposed to be quick and easy, this office claims online they they make your visits quick and easy. False advertising.
Very nice and professional staff. High quality service. Thank you all, specifically to the young lady who chased me down the road after I forgot my CDL inside. Whether the doctors, nurses, or customer service representatives, the experience was refreshing and incredibly accommodating. Warm, friendly service that will welcome your walk in, and make you feel at home.
